Dedicated to the memory of Paul O'Connor
This site is a tribute to Paul. He is much loved, missed so much and will always be remembered.
Paul suffered with kidney failure since birth and over the past 6½ years spent much of this time on dialysis, with some time off this after having a kidney transplant which sadly never worked properly.
He always tried to educate in the dangers of kidney failure - an invisible killer - and fundraise for both much-needed research into this and the Renal Unit in York, who cared for us both.
Although Paul had other illnesses, it was ultimately his kidney failure that had the most prolonged effect on our lives and ended up taking his life far too soon.
Please help us to raise as much as we can in memory of Paul for Kidney Research UK in order to further research to enable treatments to be improved and better tolerated, and to raise awareness and stop this heartache happening to other families.
